Don’t let age dictate what you can and cannot do. -Tao Porchon-Lynch
“I’m not interested in what I can’t do, only what I can,” explains Tao Porchon-Lynch during a TEDxColumbiaSIPA talk in 2014. “Think, this is going to be the best day of my life,” she advises. At the time of this talk, Tao Porchon-Lynch was a yoga instructor at age 95. She recounts that she began competitive ballroom dancing at 87 and her ballroom dance partners are seventy years younger than she is! Growing up in India, her life was greatly influenced by her uncle, a personal friend of Mahatma Gandhi.
This week, I encourage you to stay interested in what you can do, regardless of your age.
Enjoy a happy and productive week!
