Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is really great work. -Steve Jobs
On this Labor Day in the United States, I thought it made sense to send a relevant quote. And I was reminded of Steve Jobs’ commencement speech to the 2005 graduating class at Stanford University. “And the only way to do great work is to love what you do,” he explained. “If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it,” he continued. Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple Computers and led the company in pioneering technologies until his death in 2011.
This week, I encourage you to consider your work. And what steps can you take to be satisfied that you are doing “really great work?”
Enjoy a happy and productive week!
