Practice means perform, over and over again in the face of obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. -Martha Graham
In her essay, An Athlete of God, dancer and choreographer Martha Graham wrote about the value of practice and its importance in the learning and mastery process. Martha Graham’s influence on modern dance is significant. In the essay, she continued, “Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same.”
“Practice is a means of inviting the perfection required,” she added.
This week, I encourage you to consider an area of your life where more practice will prepare you for your desired outcome. And be prepared “to perform, over and over again.”
Enjoy a happy and productive week!
