In times of change, learners inherit the earth. -Eric Hoffer
Meanwhile, continues Hoffer, “…the learned find themselves beautifully equipped with a world that no longer exists.” And “learners,” by the definition implied here, are open, flexible and willing to adopt and take on new concepts. This is in contrast to rigid and fixed attitudes and resistance to change. Eric Hoffer was an American philosopher and author of several best-selling books. He lived from 1898 to1983 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1983.
